'The Zig-Zag Woman' and 'WASP': Actors' Rep brings Steve Martin to the Paramount

For as long as entertainers have been entertaining, last-minute mishaps have been part of the business. And yet, shows are pulled off so that the audience never knew there was a glitch, because as they say, the show must go on.

This was director Garrett Robin’s experience after he pitched two short plays by Steve Martin to Vermont Actors Repertory Theatre. He got lucky in many ways with them, but also met some interesting challenges that the 21 year old chalked up to good experience.
