PETERBOROUGH — A decade after bringing Shakespeare in the Park to Depot Park, Actors’ Circle Theatre is celebrating its 10th anniversary with one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies, “Twelfth Night.”
The performances are free and open to the public, and held on the first two weekends this month, Saturdays and Sundays at 5 p.m.
Veteran actor and director Chris McCartie of Keene is directing again, and unlike the past few Shakespeare in the Park productions he’s led, this play will be set in Shakespeare’s time.
“For our 10th anniversary, I wanted to return to period costumes,” McCartie said.
The cast is filled with local actors, including McCartie as Orsino, Duke of Illyria, and Heather McCormack of Greenfield as his love interest, Olivia.
