Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and supporting actor Chris Pine will be reunited for a new six-part series on TNT, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The series is called One Day She’ll Darken, and it’s a true crime story based on the autobiography of Fauna Hodel. Jenkins’ husband, novelist Sam Sheridan, will write the script; Jenkins will direct the pilot and executive produce. This isn’t her first work in television, as she’s also directed episodes for series as diverse as Arrested Development, Entourage, and The Killing. She was nominated for a directing Emmy in 2011 for the latter. This will, however, be Chris Pine’s first-ever series television role.
He’ll play a former Marine named Jay Singletary, who becomes a tabloid journalist and chases the Hodel story.
