Actresses could have chosen not to become victims

This is a response to all of those terribly abused actresses in Hollywood. My grandmother was in the Ziegfeld Follies when she was a teenager through her early 20s. She was asked to go to Hollywood to become an actress, like other Follies entertainers of that time. She turned down the offer and said, “I don’t need the job if I have to sleep with the producer and director.” That was around 1916. She knew the score back then and had enough integrity and self-worth not to put herself in that situation.

These actresses, the so-called self-aggrandizing pillars of society that so many little girls look up to because of the  daily self-promotion of Hollywood elite, certainly know the score by now that this quid pro quo is commonly practiced in Hollywood.
